How It Works

Super Bowl Squares is a game played on a 10x10 grid making up 100 squares. People can buy as many squares as they like.

Once you register and payment has been received, you can log in and pick your squares by clicking on them. Your initials will appear inside the squares you pick.

When all squares have been picked and before the big game starts, the numbers 0 through 9 will be randomly selected by a volunteer (I'll record the video) and assigned to each of the 10 columns and rows of the grid.

At the end of the 1st quarter, halftime, 3rd quarter, and final (after the completion of any overtime), the score of the game up to that point is recorded. A winner is determined by looking at the last number of each team's score and determining which square intersects those two numbers.

For example, if the Washington Redskins are playing the Houston Texans in the Super Bowl, and the score at halftime is Washington 24 and Houston 17, the winning square would be the one that has 4 for Washington and 7 for Houston.

I won't hold squares for you, so don't get weird about that. First come, first served.

Of course, there's nothing you can really do about it since numbers are chosen randomly.
